Kinh Bo Company Ltd. the Vietnam partner of French aerial platform maker Klubb, has introduced its KAT42 vehicle mounted aerial platform in the region.
Kinh Bo has already supplied more than 200 units to Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City. KAT42 is gaining popularity in the region and several countries including Cambodia and Laos have shown keen interest in the aerial platform.
“We have also signed a contract to supply 30 units to a customer in the region and the deliveries will start later this year,” Nguyen Ngo Binh Hoaxing told Daily News on the sidelines of the VIAexpo.
The platform can carry two persons and a weight up to 200 kilo grams. The KAT42 is also highly resistant to very high or low temperatures.
Its aluminum telescope ensures excellent stability and the conveyor chain and extension cylinders are protected in the arm for greater durability.
The new pick-up aerial platform, which is on display at the show, includes all-hydraulic operation, making maintenance easy all over the world.
Therefore, the articulated basket was designed to be able to intervene in extreme environments with difficult access.
“Above all, the objective of our company, through these new products, is to offer its customers an optimal cost of ownership, and high performance,” he said. “We have other types of new aerial platform that meet the same needs with however higher work heights and offsets. We have also altered or modified the system to suit the customers’ demands, he added.
A unit of KAT42 costs about US$1,50,000.
