RTX’s Collins Aerospace Enhances FlightHub with Route Efficiency Solution

Singapore, (22 Feb.  2024), Collins Aerospace, an RTX business, has integrated the Flight Profile Optimization (FPO) solution into its FlightHub offering. FPO rapidly reviews changing environmental conditions to suggest more efficient route options for pilots, promoting fuel efficiency and reducing CO2 emissions.

“Navigating dynamic weather conditions requires the ability to access data quickly,” said Jon Merritt, associate director, Flight Deck Solutions at Collins Aerospace. “Using our flight optimization solution, pilots will have access to real-time data that in the past would have been out of reach, allowing them to make informed decisions. Our digital advancements bring the right data to pilots’ fingertips.” 

FlightHub, launched last year, offers seamless integration into existing airline systems or as a standalone system. These digital aviation solutions centralize data sources, improving information accessibility and supporting the industry’s sustainability goals.
