Roketsan MIDLAS National Vertical Launcher System Makes DIMDEX Debut

Turkish missile manufacturer Roketsan is displaying its MIDLAS National Vertical Launcher System for the first time at the ongoing DIMDEX. A company official confirmed to GBP Daily News, that this is the first time that this particular weapon system is being displayed at Doha.

Roketsan is displaying a model of the MIDLAS National Vertical Launcher System. Every MIDLAS module has eight cells which are capable of containing one missile canister in each cell, compatible with quad-pack canisters. The missiles that can be carried are Roketsan’s HISAR A+ and HISAR 0+ (RF). This land/maritime weapon system can engage targets out to ranges of more than 25 km and at altitudes above 15 km. It can destroy targets such as aircraft, helicopters, armed drones and cruise missiles.

The tactical version of the MIDLAS National Vertical Launcher System weighs 15,000 kg, while the strike version weighs 18,000 kg (unloaded). The weapon system features a modular and expandible architecture.
