The Philippines’ sole defence and security exhibition, Asian Defence and Security (ADAS) 2022 is now underway with a large number of foreign and domestic vendors, showcasing their state-of-the-art equipment and technologies. More than 165 exhibitors from 32 countries are participating at the show, signalling a very good response for the show.

ADAS is aimed at meeting the ever-growing needs and evolving requirements of the modernizing defense and security sectors in the Philippines. “With more than 165 exhibitors representing the world’s top defense companies, suppliers and contractors showcasing their products, this year’s iteration of the ADAS Series will be the largest on record. We are therefore looking forward to a great success,” said APAC EXPO Pte Ltd Managing Director Andrew Marriott.

Exhibitor countries include the United States of America, France, United Kingdom, Italy, Sweden, South Korea, Turkey, Czech Republic, Spain, Austria, Sweden, Japan, Australia, Canada, India, Israel, Germany, Brazil, Bulgaria, Switzerland, Greece, Denmark, and the Philippines, to name some of them.

The ADAS series was launched in 2014 and has been held every two years since then, except in 2020, when it was cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Companies exhibiting their products include Lockheed Martin, General Dynamics Mission Systems, Airbus, Saab, Brahmos Aerospace, Austal, Israel Weapon Industries, Korea Aerospace Industries, Israel Aerospace Industries, Elbit Systems, Embraer, Aselsan, Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, Rafael, Glock, and UAV Factory.

ADAS 2022 is being supported by the Office of the President of the Republic of the Philippines, Department of National Defense, National Security Council, Armed Forces of the Philippines, Philippine Army, Philippine Navy, Philippine Air Force, Philippine National Police, Philippine Coast Guard, and the Tourism Promotions Board.

ADAS 2022 is organized by the Singapore-based APAC Expo Pte Ltd and will run until April 29.
