Aerospace Rotables and SEMAN Peru are expanding landing gear repair capabilities to include Boeing 777 and 747 aircraft. The announcement was made at Aviation Week Network’s ongoing MRO Americas 2023.
This strategic move is aimed at meeting the growing demand for landing gear repair services from customers operating Boeing 777 and 747 aircraft. The new capability includes 100% in-house processing of the landing gear overhaul inclusive of plating.
“We are excited to announce the expansion of our landing gear repair capabilities to include the Boeing 777 and 747 freighter aircraft,” said Aerospace Rotables CEO Marco Villavicencio. “This is a significant milestone for our partnership with SEMAN, as it allows us to better serve our customers and expand our footprint in the aviation industry.”

Aerospace Rotables already holds one of the largest inventories of 757 and 767 landing gear assets in the world with 6 shipsets of 757 and 12 shipsets of 767 in all weight configurations of passenger and freighters. With the launch of the new program, the company will have four 777 landing gear assets and four 747-400/400F assets available for exchange and loan, including 777-200ER, 777-300ER, 777-300ERF and 747-400 Pax, 747-400 freighter models.
