Ameco Beijing to Open New Hangar

Ameco Beijing will open a hangar dedicated for VIP and business jet completions and maintenance in May.

“It is not a new built one but transformed from a painting hangar. This hangar can accommodate a wide-body aircraft or three narrow-body aircraft simultaneously, installed advanced completion equipment and security systems. Besides this hangar, the Beijing-based MRO specialist also plans to expand its current interior manufacture workshop in line with the growth of workload,” said an official of Ameco Beijing.

Ameco Beijing is an MRO provider with comprehensive services. In addition to maintenance, repair and overhaul on commercial aircraft, it also provides completion and maintenance for large business jets. Currently, Ameco’s capabilities on business jet completions cover all processes from design, engineering, certification, manufacture to installation. On the basis of satisfying Chinese market, Ameco will take part in the international competition by providing personalized and professional services on VIP and business jet completions.

Since the 90s, Ameco Beijing has been providing VIP completions and is a specialist on the completion of Boeing 737/747 and Airbus A330 aircraft. Driven by Chinese economy, China has become one of the main markets for long range business jets. Ameco’s business on VIP and business jet completions are also growing rapidly and the workload in the next two or three years is in a good condition.

In 2012, Ameco merged its completion related resources, which brought a fast development on capability expansion, system building and international cooperation, such as system building from design to manufacture, processing research and development of completion products, cooperation with international well-known suppliers and business jet providers for in-flight equipment integration and completion solutions.

Ameco Beijing released the interior design for the business jet Airbus A320 named “Silk Road” during ABACE 2014 in Shanghai. It uses cultural elements in different regions along the Silk Road of ancient China in the interior design for the cabin of business jet. It conveys the Silk Road culture spirit and meaning as well as the need of comfort and safety.
