Aselsan Unveils New Network-Based Communication Systems

Our Bureau - : Oct 25, 2024 - : 2:08 am

Aselsan has unveiled new network-based communication systems at the ongoing show. The ACROSAT KA45-A Airborne Satellite Communication Terminal, ARTCOM 6993-A Mini Airborne Radio and National Tactical Data Link Terminals are striking examples of Aselsan’s assertion in the field of communications.

ACROSAT KA45-A Airborne Satellite Communication Terminal

The 45 cm Ka-band Airborne Satellite Communication Terminal enables secure and high-speed satellite communication on the move in all types of operational and environmental conditions. It offers customizable system solutions to meet diverse user needs. Specifically designed for various airborne platforms and featuring precision stabilization, the terminal, uniquely developed by ASELSAN using domestic capabilities, is housed within a radome with high RF permeability. Manufactured using additive manufacturing techniques, the 45 cm Ka-band Airborne Satellite Communication Terminal offers a lightweight, high strength, and compact design, making it suitable for confined spaces. Its unique design ensures superior RF performance.

ARTCOM 6993-A Mini Airborne Radio

ARTCom 6993-A Mini Airborne Radio is an avionic equipment that operates in the V/UHF band (30-512 MHz) and, depending on the operating mode, has voice and data communication capabilities. In Wideband Networking Waveform mode, it can act as a relay to extend the communication area between elements as a subscriber of the network. It satisfies the environmental condition features required for use in aerial platforms. ARTCom 6993-A primarily supports the Wideband Networking Waveform mode and the V/UHF Air AM and FM modes.

T-Link National Tactical Data Link Terminals

The National Data Link (T-Link) Project has been developed to provide a national solution for the tactical communication needs required in the operational field. To establish a comprehensive tactical communication network in the operational field, T-Link System must be integrated into both stationary and mobile airborne, ground, naval and missile platforms. Tactical information transmitted across all platforms included in the network via encrypted and electronic warfare resistant terminals and software that enable secure, network-based, data and voice communication. This ensures seamless and reliable communication in dynamic operation scenarios, enhancing the overall efficiency and security of the mission-critical communication infrastructure.

T-Link system consists of various types of terminals (T-Link LOS-A, T-Link LOS-C, T-Link LOS-MG, T-Link BLOS) and software designed to be compatible with platform types.
