TURTLE-PAC from Australia is exhibiting for the first time at SOFEX, and is hoping to sell its Air Cargo Tanks and Air Drop Tanks as Drop Drum 205 to militaries in the region.

“Our unique innovative products can increase capability for SOF and airborne forces,” Laszlo Torok, Director and Founder of TURTLE-PAC told Daily News.

The company is not new in the region. “We have deals with UAE Navy to supply our Collision Bandage, which helps fix leakages in boats and ships,” Torok said.

Collison Bandage is used for emergency leaks at sea. Damage to the hull of boat, ship or yacht normally cause a high risk of sinking. Damage to the hull is covered by the Collision Bandage, which inflates to give boat buoyancy and covers damage to prevent leaks.

“Also sold are our some of our Air Cargo Tanks. Air Drop Tanks as Drop Drum 205 have been supplied to the UAE army for evaluation,” he added.

Other products on display include: Drop Spheroid Tanks, Cargo Spheroid 50, Drop Drum 205, Air Cargo Tanks, and Collapsible Ferry Tanks. Air Cargo Tanks are used by USA military helicopters and civil users in jungles of Papua New Guinea- Australia – Columbia – Canada – Alaska – Africa – even in Antarctica and Russia. The double construction collapsible tanks offer helicopter and fixed wing operations a two way revenue earning capacity. Once tanks rolled out of fuselage or emptied, the tanks can be rolled up and aircraft will be free to carry passengers or cargo on return flight. Air Cargo Tanks models are built to 529 gallons and are widely used all over the globe since 1991.

TURTLE-PAC is aiming to find suitable agents for Middle East to represent it in the region.
