AWAS deliver to Pakistan

Airblue, the fastest growing airline in Pakistan, has taken delivery of a new A320 aircraft from leasing company AWAS to cope with blossoming demand.

The aircraft comes from AWAS’ new order pipeline of planes from Airbus, and according to Tariq Chaudhary, Airblue CEO, will allow the airline “perform efficiently on a range of routes from 30 minute to over five hours” Chaudhary said this performance envelope is critical to Airblue’s business model.

The new A320 will service daily domestic services between Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, and Peshawar, as well as international services to Dubai, Turkey and the UK.
