Slovakia based Virtual Reality Media, a.s. (VRM) which is engaged in the design, development and production of state-of-the-art flight simulators and training systems has partnered with Bengaluru based AXISCADES to produce its upcoming Simulator, a Level D Full Flight Simulator (FFS). The agreement was inked at the ongoing airshow and AXISCADES will have a significant workshare in the design of the new FFS.
“India is a key market for us and we are inclined to support the Make in India program. AXISCADES, with its in depth domain knowledge was the most logical partner to work with and I look forward to using their expertise to produce state of the art simulators,” said Eduardo Cristea, Director sales, VRM.
AXISCADES will now act as VRMs preferred partner to supply subsystems for both, its military and civil Simulator programs.
“AXISCADES has delivered various major systems to the Indian Ministry of Defence systems including the Electronic Warfare Simulator, Aircraft Recognition Training & Simulation System, RF Signal Simulator and various Avionics Systems. This partnership furthers the trust and support the Indian Ministry of Defence and Indian Defence Forces have in our abilities as the industry’s premier provider of the High-Fidelity simulation equipment,” said Sharadhi Babu, Chief Executive Officer, AXISCADES.
Under the terms of the partnership agreement, the Indian firm will supply and integrate the 6 Degree Of Freedom Electric Motion System, the collimated display system and undertake modelling of designated buildings/airfields.
The two companies also plan to target Indian MoD projects, such as twin dome flight simulator for trainer aircrafts, Full Mission Simulator (FMS) for Helicopters, other Indian/Russian platforms and Drone/UAV Simulators.
