Boeing Not to Bring 737 MAX Or 777X Test Aircraft To Show

Airbus is bringing a wide range of its aircraft to the upcoming Farnborough International Airshow but Boeing aircraft will be conspicuous by their near total absence.

In a departure from previous editions of the event, the American powerhouse will not have any of its own aircraft on static display at the event. However, Qatar Airways’ Boeing 787-9 will be on static display. The other Boeing aircraft that will be at the event is the P-8 Poseidon, which will be part of two flying displays, on July 22 and 24, by the Royal Air Force (RAF).

Airbus aircraft at the prestigious show will include the A220-300, A330-900, and an Air India Airbus A350. commercial aircraft. On static display will be the Aliaca, CAPA-X, C295, Flexrotor drone, H135M, and H160 military and commercial helicopters. The company also has four flypasts scheduled with the A321XLR.

Aircraft OEMs ATR and Embraer are also bringing aircraft to the event, including passenger and freighter aircraft. The freighters at the show will include ATR 72-600F and the Embraer E190 converted freighter.
