Calidus Aerospace and Havelsan Sign Deal for Calidus Aerial Platforms Ground Based Training System

UAE defence company Calidus Aerospace has signed a heads of terms agreement with Havelsan for the sale of Ground Based Training System (GBTS) for UAE flagship indigenous Calidus aerial platforms.

The agreement, signed during the ongoing SAHA Expo 2024, signals a strategic partnership between the companies to collaborate on cutting-edge solutions for its customers. The firms recently signed an agreement for development and delivery of Full Mission Simulator, Part Task Trainers and related supporting training solutions for Calidus aerial platforms. The solution would be customized for Calidus customers and unique to the B-250 various roles and requirements.

Havelsan will develop and deliver GBTS solution with unique customer specific enhancements and capabilities, in a short time to meet aircraft training needs.

This collaboration would not only ensure meeting existing requirements of advanced training system but would also establish a foundation for next-gen training solutions for our upcoming variants.
