Carroll Lane has assumed the role of President of the company’s Commercial Engines business at Pratt & Whitney,. He will report to Pratt & Whitney President Christopher Calio.
“Carroll is uniquely positioned to help Commercial Engines continue its transformation,” said Calio. “Carroll brings a wealth of experience to the organization with an understanding of the aerospace industry and key experiences in strategic leadership.”
Carroll Lane succeeds Calio, who took over as President of the company on January 1 this year. He succeeded Bob Leduc, who retired from the company after more than four decades of service.
Lane returns to Pratt & Whitney after leading Investor Relations for United Technologies Corporation, where he was responsible for developing and implementing strategies that position UTC as a preferred investment to domestic and international investor communities. He first joined the UTC Corporate Office in 2012 as director, Corporate Strategy & Development. In 2014, he transferred to Pratt & Whitney as the senior director, Customer Solutions, and served in positions of increasing responsibility including vice president, Commercial Aftermarket.
