Ranhill Defence & Technology a Malaysian provider of defence solutions has partnered with Thai manufacturer of defence vehicles Chaiseri to bring a range of vehicles to the show.
On display for the first time is the Chaiseri First Win Armoured Reconnaissance Vehicle (ARV). The First Win ARV is fitted with a roof mounted Remote Controlled Weapon Station (RWCS) with EO/IR sensors.
The ARV has a gross weight of approximately 14 tonnes and can attain a maximum speed of 110 kmph. It is powered by a 300 PS engine and carry a 1.5 tonne payload. The vehicle has a combat range of 600 km. The armoured vehicle features ballistic and mine protection to STANAG 4569 Lv2 levels and travel a distance of 50 km on its runflat tyres.
Also on display at the show is Chaiseri’ s First Win Armoured Fighting Vehicle (AFV) also fitted with a roof mounted RCWS. Also being showcased is a First Win Armoured Tactical Vehicle (ATV).
