Commtact Secures Major Missile Communication Contract

Our Bureau - : Jul 8, 2024 - : 10:02 pm

Commtact Ltd., a provider of advanced wireless communication solutions for defence, security forces, and robotic platforms, has been awarded a multimillion-dollar contract for a missile project with a prominent defence client. This marks a significant milestone in the company’s development.

The project involves research and development of a bespoke communication system that incorporates advanced encryption and immunity capabilities across air, sea, and land domains, along with multi-domain topologies. This system will enable missiles to exchange critical information, adapt to changing missions, report communication issues, and adjust tasks in real-time, enhancing mission success and effectiveness. It will support both Lock On Before Launch (LOBL) and Lock On After Launch (LOAL) modes of operation.

“This important and strategic deal establishes our position in the missile field globally, integrating smart communication solutions for this segment. We are poised to set new standards in mission performance and operational resilience, redefining the capabilities of defence and security forces worldwide,” stated Guy Avrahami, VP Sales & Marketing at Commtact.

Drawing insights from recent conflicts, the system is designed to ensure real-time data collection, mission adaptation, and dynamic target changes, even in complex urban environments. Its ability to adjust communication frequencies and transmit data efficiently makes it ideal for short-range operations, covering distances up to several kilometres. Additionally, the system’s seamless plug-and-play installation enhances missile capabilities without adding extra weight, representing a significant advancement in defence communications.

Commtact is also introducing its multi-domain topologies technology for the first time, revolutionising communication in challenging warzones and urban settings. This technology allows operators to control multiple Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) in complex scenarios, significantly improving mission success and effectiveness.
