CTech, which has an ambition to become a global brand in fixed and mobile platform communication and jamming-resistant secure communication for both military and government applications is showcasing its new-generation products at the ongoing show.
Speaking to Daily News, Bartu Unuvar, Business Development Manager at CTech said the company’s products were in widespread use in Turkey and with several foreign customers. The company’s SkyARX Terminal is a lightweight, antenna-equipped, complete air terminal that provides IP communications on the move. It is available with 12” or 18” antenna diameters. Unuvar said development of SkyARX began in 2015 with flight demonstrations beginning in 2018. The system is now in widespread use. The SkyARX which is presently available as a three-axis device, is being upgraded to a four-axis device, Unuvar said. It will be available to customers in the 2nd Quarter of 2025.
Also being showcased at Istanbul is the CTech’s generation Electronic Jamming Resistant System (EPMS) ‘Secure ARX’. The company won the EPMS. tender earlier this month for Satellite Communication Ground Systems, opened by NATO Communications and Information Systems Agency (NCIA) within the scope of the “Satellite Communication Transmission Services” Capability Package. CTech General Manager Dr. Cüneyd Fırat said, “The SecureARX Secure and Jam-Resistant Satellite Communication System has been specifically designed to meet all the requirements of satellite communication for secure and flexible over-the-horizon communication of fixed and mobile land, sea and air vehicles under harsh conditions in military and government usage scenarios, and it can also be easily installed and managed under difficult conditions.”
Developed by CTech, SecureARX will be comprehensively integrated into NATO’s Satellite Ground Systems as critical fixed or mobile stations and platforms in accordance with the relevant Standardization Agreement and with its additional capabilities, and SecureARX will ensure the uninterrupted continuity of NATO’s satellite communication operations.
Fırat said, “We are developing modems that are resistant to electronic jamming and provide secure satellite communication. We worked hard to achieve this result. We held a meeting and demonstration with the participation of the Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB). Our product was examined, we took part in many commissions and CTech was officially nominated by the Turkish authorities to participate in this tender. Following this, NCIA published the relevant Standardization Agreement and the tender invitation for additional capabilities.”
“We prepared well in a very strong competitive environment, worked hard and won this tender. This success also means a national representation mission and is an important indicator of the level our country has reached in this field. We are proud and excited to receive the results of the determination, effort and patience we have shown for years. We will continue to follow our future goals with the same excitement, courage and determination. I have full faith that we will achieve greater successes both nationally and internationally. “In addition, this tender won by NATO’s technology and cyber center NCIA will be a strong reference for our company on the way to the international market.”
