The National Cyber Security Agency of Malaysia (NACSA) has announced the postponement of CYDES 2021, from 1-3 June 2021 to the 28-30th June 2021.
CYDES 2021 is being promoted as the world’s first integrated cyber defence, cyber security and emerging technology event for the global community.
CYDES is a national event by the Government of Malaysia organised by Alpine Integrated Solution Sdn Bhd and will be held at the Kaula Lumpur Convention Centre, Malaysia.
‘Based on the projections and calculations as well as data analytics by the Government (provided all SOPs are adhered to), the COVID-19 situation should be under control by then…… the Government and Alpine Integrated Solution Sdn Bhd has reached a decision that we will then go fully virtual,’ the organisers of the show, Alpine Integrated Solutions announced in a release.
CYDES has been curated based on the Strategies as outlined by the Malaysia Cyber Security Strategy 2020-2024 (MCSS 2020-2024). The Malaysian Government has allocated a budget of RM1.8 billion for the implementation of the initiatives under MCSS 2020-2024
More than 200 local and international exhibitors are expected to participate at CYDES 2021, showcasing: Technical Products & Solutions, Cyber Security Services and Cyber Security Training Services.
