ELT Group has signed a contract with the Qatar Armed Forces to provide it a Unified Electronic Warfare (EW) Centre. The facility will provide the Qatar Armed Forces with state-of-the-art capabilities for EW operations. The contract is the initial step of a wider project that will be achieved in different phases.
“This contract represents a very important result, both in economic terms and for what concerns our positioning in the area” said Domitilla Benigni, CEO&COO of ELT Group. “It’s also a confirmation of a solid friendship and long-term cooperation with the Qatar Armed Forces. For the first time in Qatar, our company takes on the role of Prime Contractor and Lead System Integrator, and this makes us particularly proud of the trust that such and advanced End User has placed in ELT Group. There is also the fact that the contract was signed on the day Qatar celebrates its National Day, which makes the event even more special”.
ELT Group has been present in Qatar since 2017 with the opening of its commercial office, providing support within many national programs thanks to its portfolio of capabilities in the EMSO domain.
