Embraer on Wednesday announced the signing of multi-year agreements for the Embraer Collaborative Inventory Planning (ECIP) program with two airlines, Brazil’s Azul and Republic Airways, from the U.S., at the ongoing MRO Americas 2021.
The contracts will provide the airlines an efficient spare parts planning and replenishment operation with support from the Embraer, the aircraft manufacturer.
“We are glad to renew these agreements with our long-time key customers, which are important endorsements for the ECIP program and Embraer Services& Support in general,” said Danielle Vardaro, Head of Worldwide Customer Support and Aftermarket Sales, Embraer Services & Support. “Our goal is to always provide the best support, delivering products and solutions that will solve customer problems. In this regard, the ECIP program optimizes the airline’s inventory while at the same time increases the availability of spare parts for the aircraft fleet.”
Embraer will manage the planning and replenishment of a sizeable portion of both customers’ spare parts stock requirements covering the E-Jets and E-Jets E2s fleets operated by each airline, respectively. ECIP main benefits include guaranteed availability of parts, optimized inventory with reduced inventory holding costs, fixed spare parts prices, short replenishment lead times and a door-to-door delivery service.
