Embraer will present its commercial, defence, and executive aircraft at the Bali Airshow, held at Ngurah Rai International Airport from September 18 to 21. The display will include scale models of the E2 family of narrowbody jets and the multi-mission C-390 Millennium military airlift aircraft.
In Indonesia, Embraer aircraft are used by the Indonesian Air Force, which operates A-29 Super Tucanos, and there is a significant number of Embraer business jets in operation. PT Wira Jasa Angkasa (WJA) serves as Embraer Executive Jets' authorised service centre in Indonesia.
The E2 series features the E190-E2 and E195-E2 jets, which seat up to 114 and 146 passengers respectively. These jets are noted for their low noise levels and fuel efficiency, offering a range of over six hours. Scoot, a subsidiary of Singapore Airlines, will begin flights between Singapore and Kertajati International Airport using the E190-E2 from September 28, 2024.
The C-390 Millennium is a versatile military transport aircraft capable of carrying up to 26 tons of payload. It can fly at speeds of 470 knots and is designed for various missions including cargo transport, medical evacuation, and search and rescue. The aircraft can operate from unpaved runways and can be equipped for air-to-air refuelling under the designation KC-390.
