Esther Kromhout has been appointed as the new Director of Netherlands Airport Consultants (NACO,) a company of Royal HaskoningDHV. She assumed charge on April 12.
NACO is a leading airport consultancy and engineering firm with over 70 years’ experience in airport planning and design and a track record of over 600 airports.
“With Covid-19, the aviation market hit a turning point,” said Royal HaskoningDHV Global Director Maritime & Aviation Craig Huntbatch. “To build back better, Esther will be focusing on accelerating sustainability and making aviation smarter.”
“I very much look forward to leading NACO and working together with clients and partners on more data driven operation and design, and future-proofing airports,” said Kromhout.
Kromhout has been active in the aviation market for over 15 years, gaining experience in a wide variety of projects, cultures, and countries. In the 21 years that she has been with Royal HaskoningDHV, she has undertaken several managerial roles and a wide range of projects.
Besides NACO Director, Kromhout will also be Royal HaskoningDHV’s Business Unit Director Aviation encompassing InterVISTAS Consulting. She takes over from Paul Govaerts.
