ExecuJet Haite Aviation Services China and Capital Airport Holding Business Aviation Management (CBM) have officially opened new facilities at Beijing Daxing International Airport. The launch includes a new Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facility by ExecuJet Haite and a Fixed Base Operator (FBO) with an international channel by CBM. This development represents a significant step forward for China’s business aviation sector.

The new MRO facility by ExecuJet Haite covers 7,150 square metres, with a 5,000 square metre hangar that is both air-conditioned and heated. It also includes modern office spaces and extensive backshops. The facility can accommodate up to eight midsize to large business jets at the same time and provides a range of maintenance services for aircraft from manufacturers like Bombardier, Dassault Aviation, Embraer, and Gulfstream. This new facility is more than twice the size of their previous MRO facility at Tianjin’s Binhai International Airport.

CBM’s new FBO at Daxing spans three levels and includes 12 VIP rooms. It features separate channels for domestic travellers, international travellers, and VVIPs. The FBO has a total of 85 aircraft parking spaces, with five hangars dedicated to parking, capable of accommodating aircraft such as the Airbus ACJ and Boeing BBJ.

The new business aviation centre at Daxing, the largest in the Asia Pacific region, includes a 400,000 square metre area allocated for business aviation, with a 300,000 square metre apron for aircraft parking, loading, unloading, refuelling, and boarding.

During the opening ceremony, Paul Desgrosseilliers, General Manager of ExecuJet Haite, commented: “We have been operating for nearly 15 years in China and are excited to now have a first-class MRO facility here at Beijing Daxing International Airport, one of the main international gateways to China and the region.”

He added, “The infrastructure at Beijing Daxing International Airport is second to none and is an attractive proposition for business jet operators because of features such as: streamlined security, customer-focused amenities, easy ramp access, and state-of-the-art hangar facilities. We are delighted to immediately start supporting business aircraft and be working with CBM to create a world-class business aviation hub.”

Li Yiyong, General Manager of CBM, also expressed enthusiasm for the new facilities, saying, “The opening of the international channel of the Daxing business jet terminal provides a convenient and efficient new channel for international business passengers to enter and exit Daxing Airport. It’s of great significance for improving access of Daxing Airport, and promoting business cooperation as well as economic and trade development in Beijing, Hebei, and Tianjin.”
