flydocs has entered into a five-year partnership with Avianca, Latin America's largest airline, to digitise and streamline the records and asset management of its fleet, which includes over 140 aircraft.
Avianca, established in 1919, was recognised as the most punctual global airline in 2023 by aviation data firm Cirium. Under the terms of the agreement, the airline will integrate flydocs' Digital Records Management platform, enhancing its existing partnerships with other digital tech providers such as AMOS, the leading maintenance and engineering software, and AVIATAR, a platform offering data-driven digital products and services.

Founded in 2007 and fully owned by Lufthansa Technik, flydocs is recognised for providing the aviation industry with comprehensive solutions for aircraft maintenance data. With a global team of over 300 employees, flydocs serves more than 75 airlines, lessors, and MROs to deliver operational and cost efficiencies.
Avianca, part of the Star Alliance, operates one of the largest fleets in Latin America, with 140 aircraft and 150 routes across 25 countries. It is a leader in passenger and cargo transport in Colombia, Ecuador, and Central America. In 2023, Avianca was ranked first in punctuality by Cirium and carried over 32 million passengers across more than 213,000 flights.
The partnership is seen as a significant step in Avianca’s ongoing digital transformation, particularly in the area of aircraft maintenance.
