GIDS Sees Demand for Harbah Missiles

Pakistan’s Global Industrial & Defence Solutions (GIDS) is seeing plenty of interest for the indigenously developed Harbah anti-ship cruise missile from countries in the MENA region.

According to the company’s chief executive officer, Asad Kamal, countries, “especially Qatar, are looking at our offer of manufacturing the missiles locally.” The Harbah fire and forget missile has a range of 290 km.

GIDS has also been engaged with several industry partners in the the Gulf region on different collaboration and joint venture projects. “We are aiming to target the prevailing technological collaboration opportunities in the MENA region as well, particularly in the UAV domain,” Kamal added.
