Buoyed by its success in the field, Havelsan is promoting its pilot training equipment solutions at the show.

The Turkish company has a team at the show for discussions with industry stakeholders such as airlines and pilot training centers about the range of pilot training equipment that it provides. Since the beginning of the current year, Havelsan has delivered a number of Boeing B737MAX and Airbus A320 full flight simulators (FFS) and achieved subsequent EASA certification of devices. Until now, the company’s devices have supported the training of over 8,600 airline pilots since going into operation.

Acccording to company officials, Havelsan has delivered equipment ahead of schedule to a significant number of airlines and training centers in 2024. Recently, Havelsan delivered its 5th FFS to Turkish Airlines as part of the airlines’ order for 11 FFS and FTDs. It also delivered an Airbus A320 neo/CEO FFS simulator with three engine options to well-known independent pilot training group IFTC. The company also has received device orders from airlines such as SunExpress.

Havelsan, which has 40 years of experience in the field of defense, simulation, ICT, homeland security and cyber security, announced earlier this year that it had entered into a collaboration with Turkish Airlines to set up a Turkish Airlines training center location in Ankara, Turkiye.
