HENSOLDT and Lockheed Martin have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore potential cooperation in maritime command and control systems and radar technologies.

Oliver Dörre, CEO of HENSOLDT AG, and Paul Lemmo, Vice President and General Manager of Integrated Warfare Systems and Sensors at Lockheed Martin, formalised the agreement. Dörre commented that the MoU reflects HENSOLDT’s role as a reliable partner for both national and international security and defence programs. He added that it further strengthens the company’s strategic growth as a provider of integrated system solutions. Dörre noted the companies’ successful collaboration on various projects and expressed enthusiasm for advancing technologies in maritime command and control systems and radar, aiming to enhance the capabilities of military customers and partners while promoting local value creation.

Lemmo highlighted Lockheed Martin’s commitment to building industrial partnerships, particularly in Germany, and stated that their joint efforts in radar development would lead to the creation of high-performance systems, manufactured and maintained in Germany to ensure long-term operational readiness.
