Our Bureau - : Jun 21, 2023 - : 6:44 pm

Honeywell has announced two memorandums of agreement (MOAs) to establish a cooperative relationship with SIA Engineering Company (SIAEC) and its affiliates in the areas of authorization of repair activities on Honeywell Air Data Inertial Reference Unit (ADIRU) and Pre-Cooler Control Valve (PCCV), and to explore associated material supply opportunities. Both MOAs were announced at Paris Air Show 2023, where Honeywell will be exhibiting multiple hardware and software technologies.

“As a leading aerospace products and services provider, we are excited about this extended partnership with SIAEC. Our successful track record of working with leading aerospace companies ensures that we are well equipped to supply quality component parts and repair services, for SIAEC to boost its capabilities in servicing the regional civil aviation industry,” said

Eric Ai, Vice President, Airlines, Asia Pacific, Honeywell Aerospace. “The Paris Air Show is a spectacular event with hundreds of thousands of visitors, and we are thrilled to announce these new arrangements here.”

Pursuant to the MOAs, both Honeywell and SIAEC anticipate signing a 10-year license and material supply programme to enable SIAEC to perform repair activities on the Honeywell ADIRU products for the Airbus A320, A330 and A380 aircraft, as well as a seven-year license and material supply program to enable SIAEC to perform repair activities on the Honeywell PCCV products for the Boeing B737 aircraft. The MOAs will also enable both parties to explore sales opportunities for spare parts across multiple aircraft types.

“We are excited with this new Honeywell partnership on repair services, which further strengthens our relationship as Honeywell’s APAC Channel Partner of the Year,” said Wong Yue Jeen, Senior Vice President, Partnership Management and Business Development, SIA Engineering Company. “This collaboration allows us to continue building our capabilities on next-generation aircraft and expand our range of products to better support customers globally. With our extensive sales reach and Honeywell’s wide range of products, we look forward to the synergies that this partnership will bring.”
