Jeppesen ab initio Program

: Oct 17, 2013 - : 1:28 am

Boeing subsidiary and training specialist Jeppesen is teaming with training centres worldwide to offer “ab initio” training for professional pilots.

“With the growing near-term demand for aviation personnel, the industry needs a strong training program to provide the proper foundations,” noted Sherry Carbary, VP Boeing Flight Services. Jeppesen and Boeing say they will work on the new project with leading airlines, flight schools and universities in the United States, Europe, Australia, Southeast Asia, the Middle East and South Africa – including Emirates.

“We were able to bring together the outstanding reputation of Emirates Aviation College with Jeppesen’s training know-how to create a highly successful training academy,” said Dr. Ahmad Al Ali, senior vice president, Emirates Aviation College.
