Korean automaker KIA is displaying its 4×4 “KIA Light Tactical Vehicle” or KLTV in the company’s booth at the ongoing show. This is the maiden appearance of the KLTV at Indo Defence.
Over 2000 of these vehicles are in operation with the Korean military.
Also known as the “Raycolt” or officially called K152 in the South Korean Army, the vehicle has been produced in multiple configurations ranging from reconnaissance, command vehicle, anti-tank missile launcher, NBC (Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical) reconnaissance, and more.
Produced since 2016, the vehicle is now in active service with the South Korean armed forces replacing their old Kia KM420 and KM450 utility vehicles. It has also been exported to Mali, Nigeria, Turkmenistan, and the Philippines.
