Turkish armoured vehicle manufacturer Nurol Makina is displaying its Ejder Yalçın 4×4 tactical wheeled armoured vehicle at the ongoing show.
The Ejder Yalçın is well suited for operations in difficult terrain due to its high performance and is versatile due to its modular construction. It can be configured as a multi-role armored vehicle, Border Surveillance and Security vehicle, Air Defence vehicle, Reconnaissance vehicle, Command and Control vehicle, Mine and IED Detection and Disposal vehicle, Combat vehicle, Anti-Tank vehicle, Armored Personnel Carrier, CBRN Surveillance vehicle, Mortar vehicle, Forward Observer vehicle, Tactical Missile Carriage/Launch System and Armored Ambulance vehicle.
The Ejder Yalçın Mortar Vehicle is a brand-new configuration designed to provide small units with indirect fire support capability, which is an essential requirement to support asymmetric or conventional warfare, including NATO and UN operations. The 120 mm mortar is carried on a specially designed mount. The mortar gun system features semi-automatic ammunition loading, ammunition storage, and fire control systems.
In April 2023, Nurol Makina debuted the vehicle at the Lithuania Live Firing Show, where the vehicle equipped with the Ragnarok 120mm Mortar system from Rheinmetall Norway, demonstrated its precision and stability in firing.
