Orion Seeks More Customers in the Middle East for LETS Military Training Solution

Orion Technology, an advanced technology services provider, is negotiating with Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the UAE and other countries in region to supply its Laser Enhanced Training System (LETS) for military training, after successfully providing the tactical training simulator to Jordan.

“We provide the King Abdullah II Special Operations Training Center (KASOTC ) with the the LETS, and it is one of the largest specialised training centres in Jordan and the region. This means more capabilities for the KASOTC training Center through our LETS, and there are representatives from Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the UAE and other countries, with whom we are negotiating to provide them with our system soon,” Eyad Shtaiwe, one of the founders and Chief Executive Officer of the company, said.

KASOTC is a state of the art training facility in Amman that combines cutting-edge training and support structures, highly qualified subject matter experts and support staff, and integrated advanced technology. The facility has been providing up-to-date training in counter-terrorism, special operations and irregular warfare tactics, techniques and procedures since 2009. KASOTC offers tailored training courses that cater to both military and civilian needs, as well as training support for clients from around the world according to their own training program needs.

Shtaiwe who founded the company a few years ago along with Raed Naser, claimed that LETS provide safe and realistic engagements with live force-on-force simulation features for combined ground operations scenarios.

“We developed our own system to reflect the need to enhance the performance of individuals and give a real combat replica on the ground. As well as providing the leaders and training supervisors with real-time reports transmitted directly from the ground about the participants and the overall status of the exercise,” Shtaiwe said.

Besides the MENA region, Orion Technology is looking at markets all over the world. The company is hold negotiations with local partners and agents in several countries worldwide. The LETS will be showcased at Orlando in Florida later this month.

“We have great business opportunities in the region and the world to cover the increasing demand for innovation and technology solutions in all fields, especially military training and defence,” said Shtaiwe. “We are always looking forward to working with global partners and we have plans to enter new markets next year We expect high growth for the company in the coming years.”
