SalamAir Receives Asia’s Youngest Aircraft Fleet Award for 2021

Oman’s SalamAir has been awarded “Asia’s youngest aircraft fleet” for the year 2021 by ch-Aviation, Switzerland.

The current SalamAir fleet of six Airbus 320neo aircraft is equipped with the latest technologies, efficient engines which boast operational excellence, customized interior with easy-clean leather seats for effective hygiene, the HEPA air filtration system, as well as improved cabin space. The carrier is  expected to add its first Airbus 321 aircraft to its existing fleet this summer.

“We are extremely happy to have been recognized for our youngest feet of Airbus 320neo’s on a global level,” said Captain Mohamed Ahmed, CEO of SalamAir. “This only further establishes our presence on an international level and our continued commitment to providing our customers a best-in-class flying experience while achieving operational excellence.”

SalamAir is the first Omani carrier to operate Airbus A320Neo aircraft. The carrier flies to domestic destinations including Muscat, Salalah, and international destinations to Dubai, Doha, Riyadh, Shiraz, Istanbul, Alexandria, Khartoum, Multan, Sialkot, Karachi, Dhaka, Chattogram, Calicut, Jaipur, Trivandrum, and Lucknow.
