Sarsilmaz is bringing its range of weapons to the ongoing show. The company is displaying its defence products from small arms, assault rifles to the medium and heavy machine guns.
“This is the national, Turkish rifle. A standard rifle for our military,” said Hakan Ozadali, Sarsilmaz’s Import Manager while showcasing the MPT-76 SH, a 7.62×51 mm caliber battle rifle. The name itself is an acronym of “Millî Piyade Tüfeği” or National İnfantry Rifle.
“We are the main arms supplier of the Turkish Armed Forces and Gendarmerie,” he added.
Entered serial production in 2014, the gun is replacing Turkish Armed Forces’ old battle rifle types such as the H&K G3 and HK33.
Aside from the MPT-76 SH, the company is also displaying its handguns, as well as AK and AR-15 based assault rifle products customizable to fit a wide-range of operational requirements.
Sarsilmaz is also displaying a couple of squad-operated and vehicle mounted medium-caliber and heavy machine guns to the show.
“We have many different items in our product range. We can provide any demands from any country,” he concluded.
