SATS Unveils New Logo After WFS Integration

Our Bureau - : Nov 5, 2024 - : 7:06 pm

SATS Ltd and its subsidiary Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) have introduced a new global visual identity, marking a step towards consolidating their combined network and services following the acquisition of WFS 18 months ago.

The refreshed branding reflects the unification of SATS and WFS, with the WFS name retained in regions like the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, in recognition of its established record in operational reliability and customer service.

Kerry Mok, President and CEO of SATS Ltd, commented, “To our SATS and WFS teams around the world, our new unified visual identity signals we are one aligned organisation with a clear vision.” He added, “This refresh highlights our connected network, capabilities, and the combined expertise we bring to the industry. We will strive to provide our customers with aviation solutions powered by our service excellence, agile innovation and global reach.”

The new logo features a double loop and a ‘to the power of’ symbol, representing the merging of both companies as a unified force in global aviation, cargo handling, and food solutions. The visual rebranding will be phased in over three years, with applications extending to employee uniforms, airport vehicles, and facilities including warehouses and kitchens. This gradual rollout approach aims to ensure a smooth transition across SATS’ global network, which includes over 215 stations in 27 countries.

SATS Ltd, headquartered in Singapore, is a major player in air cargo and ground handling services. Its Gateway Services division supports airfreight, passenger services, and various aviation support functions, while SATS Food Solutions caters to airlines and institutions with large-scale food production and distribution. The SATS-WFS network now covers over 215 stations in 27 countries, representing trade routes that handle more than 50% of global air cargo volume.
