Israel Shipyards is showcasing its new Offshore Patrol Vessel (OPV) family, the new OPV-45 for the first time at the ongoing show. The OPV-45 is being offered as a cost-effective solution designed for open sea patrolling and surveillance operations, as also strategic assets protection. Israel Shipyards, VP of Marketing Oded Breier, said the company has a strong focus on developing new technologies and materials that improve the performance and efficiency of its vessels.
Israel Shipyards is also promoting its Corvette family e.g., S-80 – is based on “Reshef” class vessels with a cutting- edge capabilities that will be required in future combat scenarios. Israel Shipyards had a rich history spanning over six decades.
The Israeli shipbuilder is also showcasing its renowned SHALDAG Fast Patrol Craft (FPC) family e.g., SHALDAG MK V and Shaldag MK II, which have earned a reputation as proven solutions for interdiction of seaborne terrorism, illegal activities, coastal law enforcement and Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) protection.
All these vessels are operationally proven, mission-ready, and in operation with Naval and law enforcement forces around the world.
