Spatial will manufacture and deliver three door trainers, a widebody CEET on motion and a cockpit trainer to Kuwait Airways as part of a new contract. The company will also upgrade the carrier’s existing A320 CEET.
The B747 door trainers will simulate both the lower and upper deck exits of the aircraft. They will be accompanied by a B737 Max door trainer, a widebody CEET on motion and a cockpit trainer. Both the CEET on motion and cockpit trainer will be equipped with exits from a variety of different aircraft types.
Upon completion, the devices will be housed at a state of the art aviation training organization in Kuwait. The facility will oversee the training of thousands of flight crew annually.
“We are very pleased to be assisting Kuwait Airways with the setup of their new ATO, which will undoubtedly be a world-class facility,” said Marc Van Den Broucque, Managing Director at Spatial. :This will future-proof their training capabilities for both Kuwait Airways’ current and future fleet.”
“We at Kuwait Airways are dedicated to maintaining maximum safety in all our flight operations and hence our adherence and commitment to providing training for our crew which is accurate and realistic, through the latest flight crew simulators, training equipment and devices,” said Maen Razouqi, Chief Executive Officer at Kuwait Airways.
