Spectra Group has announced the establishment of Spectra Group (Australia) at MilCIS 2024, taking place from 12-14 November at the National Convention Centre in Canberra. The new office aims to strengthen the company's ability to support customers across Australia and the Asia-Pacific region.
As part of the launch, the communications operations of C3 Systems will merge with Spectra Group (Australia), creating a more streamlined service for current and future customers. This move is expected to enhance Spectra Group’s capacity to deliver reliable and innovative solutions in the region.
Key offerings from new Australia office will include the Troposcatter Family of Systems (FoS), which provides strategic communication links between headquarters; the SlingShot system, which allows UHF and VHF radios to function as satellite communications with Beyond Line of Sight (BLOS) and Communications on the Move (COTM); and the GENSS software-defined radio, which combines SlingShot’s capabilities with improved battlefield data capacity.
Simon Davies, CEO of Spectra Group, commented, “As our portfolio of products and services continues to grow, providing closer support to our global customers has become the next logical step. We’ve recently expanded our footprint in the US, and we’re seeing increasing demand in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region.
