Taoyuan still growing

Taiwan’s largest international airport, Taipei Taoyuan International is set to break the 30 million passengers-per-year barrier, putting into the top league of Asian airports. The rapid increase – some 8% consistent year on year growth – is primarily a result of the rapid rise in business to China and Hong Kong.

In the last year, the airport has gained a whole raft of new local carriers including Scoot, Peach, and AirAsia Japan. Taoyuan serves over 40 airlines and storiesed a heady 11% growth last year.
