Thales is presenting a range of solutions at the ongoing DIMDEX targeted at the needs of the Qatar Armed Forces to develop a comprehensive air defence system that can protect their citizens, airspace and assets against all types of threats. Whereas for long-range engagements, the SAMP/T integrated collaborative combat systems for IAMD (integrated, anti-aircraft and anti-ballistic missile defence) help protect large areas of vital installations, populations and troops against the high-end spectrum of air threats, cruise missiles and even hypersonic ballistics.
