Sarsılmaz, the largest small arms manufacturer in Türkiye, is attracting attention at the ongoing event by the extensive range of its products as well as three new products.
The range of products that the company is showcasing includes pistols, infantry rifles, machine guns, remote-controlled gun turrets, as well as armed robots and weapon systems. The highlight is an unmanned armed robot, Sarbot, the country’s first one of its kind, according to company officials. The robot is designed to have various applications with different payloads. With militaries the world over showing a marked preference for unmanned systems over manned weapons, Sarsılmaz plans to focus on autonomous weapon systems, with new features developed 100% by Turkish engineers.
As part of its plans to increase its global footprint, the company is also highlighting the capabilities of a brand-new version of the Remote-Controlled Weapon System (RCWS). The system will be designed in an integrated manner with special weapons. Also being showcased is its new pistol series that sports a modern design.
The company, which exports firearms to over 70 countries, is the official pistol supplier and producer of many of the small arms for the Turkish National Police and the Turkish Armed Forces.
