Following the launch of the Can Tho – Seoul route and the announcement of five new routes to Japan, new-age carrier Vietjet has commenced its latest international route connecting Da Lat and Seoul. The new route is a continuation of the airline’s expanding network to Northeast Asia. Passengers on the inaugural flights between Da Lat and Seoul also received souvenirs from Vietjet cabin crew.
The Da Lat – Seoul (Incheon) route operates four return flights weekly from 15 January 2020. The flight departs from Da Lat at 5.10 pm and arrives in Incheon at 11.55 pm. The return flight takes off from Incheon at 2.30 am and lands in Da Lat at 5.50 am. All are in local times. Tickets are available for purchase on all sales channels, including Vietjet’s website at www.vietjetair.com or the Vietjet Air mobile app and ticket agents.
Vietjet Vice President Nguyen Thanh Son said, “We are very excited to be constantly launching new direct routes connecting Vietnam and South Korea and proud with our expanding flight network between the two countries since our first operation in 2014. The two new routes linking Da Lat and Can Tho with Seoul (Incheon), commencing respectively on 15 and 16 January, will bring new journeys for locals in the Central Highlands and Mekong Delta of Vietnam to visit the famous destination and big transport hubs of Asia. In return, travellers from Korea can have more options to explore the romantic city of Da Lat and the prosperous river region in Can Tho, which are among the top favourite destinations in Vietnam. We hope to bring our passengers more exciting experiences on our world’s most modern fleet with good records for safety, technical reliability, served by dedicated, friendly cabin crews, with highly convenient travel options at suitable times and affordable tickets.”
With the addition of the two new routes, Vietjet now has 11 direct routes and 480 flights per month. Vietjet also currently operates the most number flights between Vietnam and South Korea, connecting Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong, Da Nang, Nha Trang, Phu Quoc, Can Tho and Da Lat to Seoul, Hanoi and Nha Trang to Busan and Da Nang to Daegu. The new routes will not only meet the increasing travel demand but also contribute to the development of the tourism industry between the two countries and in the region.
