ALSIM has announced the sale of an AL40/42 reconfigurable Flight Simulator to Sichuan Longhao Pilots Training Company. The simulator will be installed at Longhao’s Jingmen branch.
The sale marks Alsim’s entry into the China market with the AL40/42 convertible. “The reputation of ALSIM is well known in China,” said Wang Hai Jia, vice president of Sichuan Longhao Pilot Training. “The quality and service proposed by ALSIM is the main reason for this purchase decision. We look forward to receiving and using the device for our daily training this September.”

The device reproduces the Diamond specific interior cockpits and flight decks. Changing from the DA40 to the DA42 configuration is quick and easy, achieved by swapping only the dashboard and center console.
The simulator includes real Garmin G1000 NXI and GFC 700 Autopilot / Flight Director, the latest VFR-VS image generator and visual system with 210° screen and the instructor station designed for instructor comfort. It is compliant with the latest aviation standards from EASA (FNPT II) and the FAA (AATD & FTD 5) to TC (FTD 2) and CAAC (FTD 5).
