GA Telesis Inks Deal with ATSG Subsidiary Cargo Aircraft Management

Arun Sivasankaran - : Jun 14, 2021 - : 3:09 am

GA Telesis has signed an agreement with Air Transport Services Group (ATSG) wholly-owned subsidiary Cargo Aircraft Management(CAM) to provide repair, disassembly, and inventory management services for CF6-80A/A2 engines.

The agreement will be managed by GAT’s Flight Solutions Group (FSG) and marks a further expansion of GAT’s partnership with CAM and ATSG.

The engines will be inducted for disassembly starting in June 2021 by the Component Solutions division of FSG. The removed material will be routed for repair through Component Solutions’ MRO vendor base. Upon completion, the used serviceable material (USM) will be made available to CAM for use on their engines as well as GA Telesis’ other airline and MRO customers worldwide.

“We are thrilled to continue growing this important partnership with ATSG and CAM in support of their expanding operations,” said Fred Sontag, Vice President Sales, Americas. “With our GA Telesis Ecosystem, we are well-positioned to manage this customized CF6-80A program to meet CAM’s need for reduced engine operating costs and beyond.”

“As our fleet continues to grow, we are focused on securing partners like GA Telesis who share the same customer service focus as CAM,” said Brady Templeton, President of CAM. “We strive to bring value to the market in all aspects of the supply chain to provide better options for our customers around the globe.”
