Schiebel India is targeting the growing market for Unmanned Air System’s (UAS) with its CAMCOPTER S-100 UAS.

Schiebel India has partnered with VEM Technologies to offer the CAMCOPTER S-100 UAS for the Indian market.
Schiebel and Thales were awarded a UAS contract in February by the UK Ministry of Defence to deliver the CAMCOPTER S-100, fitted with a powerful naval surveillance sensor suite, to provide a comprehensive maritime capability protecting Royal Navy ships on operational tasks.
The CAMCOPTER S-100 will be fitted with a range of high precision Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) sensors and systems. The Thales I-Master radar, an EO/IR camera, and an Automatic Identification System (AIS), all fused with the CarteNav’s AIMS Mission System enables an all-weather detection and identification capability of unknown targets.
The CAMCOPTER S-100 is a Vertical Takeoff and Landing (VTOL) UAS which can fly as high as 18,000 ft. In a typical configuration, the VTOL UAS can carry a 34-kg payload for up to 10 hours.
It can operate under adverse weather conditions in day or night. It has a beyond line-of-sight capability of approximately 200 km, over land and sea.
The VTOL UAS is powered with AVGas or JP-5 heavy fuel.
